I once asked the owner of a local auto repair shop how long he had been there and he said he’d been there for years. He went on to tell me that he had a guy that worked there that worked for him for years, but that guy was a jerk. I’m sure he was referring to me.
I have no personal feelings for anyone, but I’m not about to tell you that I’m not a mechanic. I have some feelings myself, and that’s why I’m sharing this post with you.

Yes, there are some people who work in this field that you might want to follow along with. I found this quite helpful when I was trying to figure out what was going on with my truck. I think this is one of the only places that you can find out the median hourly pay for the automotive service industry. I’ve found a couple of websites that list the median hourly wages for the industry too, but they are not exactly helpful. It’s also worth mentioning that the median pay for the industry is actually higher than the median salary for the industry.
