Blackstone Future Women Leaders Program is an award-winning organization that empowers women entrepreneurs to thrive in the rapidly changing landscape of the world of business. They empower women to develop their skills and build their confidence by participating in a six week training.
The program is offered by Blackstone, and has women from 26 states and 13 countries coming together to learn how to become effective business leaders, grow their networks, and build their brands. The program is a combination of personal business development, networking and business mentoring, and is a great way to develop your skills, build your confidence, and build your networks.
After the training we’re going to have a full day of workshops and business opportunities to work together to see how much money we can make for our companies. We’re going to have lunch, we’re going to have a networking event, we’re going to have a couple of business pitches, and a presentation. As we’re making contacts we’re going to take our resumes and put them on our resumes and theres going to be a lot of competition for these positions.

In that last paragraph, I was talking about future white women leaders, but that would be completely the wrong way to approach the article. If they were future white women leaders, they would have to be, well, white. They would be the first white women to hold the position, and they would be the first to be elected with at least a 50% majority vote. The first time I heard this term, it was in a documentary discussing the civil rights movement.
The fact is that women are still not represented in the most powerful positions in our society. Not in politics, not in business, not even in the entertainment industry. That is where we need to focus. To be a woman in the tech industry, I would have to be a woman in the arts, an art major, and a musician, or something close to that.
