The game itself is a game of sorts. At its core, it’s a game of drinking games. You play a “drunk” who is the last living person who has ever drank Coca Cola. The player controls a character, Colt Vahn, who drinks a variety of Coca Cola brands. These brands include Cerveza, Sprite, Gatorade, and more.
The game’s story begins when a group of Visionaries try to kill Colt. Colt is able to escape the island and goes back to his own life as a drunk. The game begins with his being able to remember his past, but it’s unclear if he remembers his entire life or just the time he spent drinking Coke and dreaming about his deceased, alcoholic sister.
In the first two levels of the game, the players are supposed to play, “Beware of the Darkness, Be Careful”. This is another thing that can make a game’s story look weird at first glance. The game’s main characters have a different life and are just trying to avoid the darkness. There are only a few clues that you can get right so you don’t need to dive into the dark.
