This is a problem with squatters for the better. There is a difference between squatting and squatting. When I sit, I know I’m squatting because my hands are shaking so much I don’t know what to do next. I’m standing up to the side and trying to catch myself before I’m squatting.
The problem is with the term, squatters rights. By this I mean squatters who have a right to be here on the island without paying the rent or being kicked out and having to move here to a different location. Many squatters have been able to hold out against eviction, but usually they have a legal right to stay. This is why it is so important to do “no trespassing” signs outside every entrance to your house before you allow your visitors in.
In the new trailer we see a person’s right to be on the island being put into question. The only thing I can think of is that the owner of the island and all his guests had a right of access to the area. In this case though, it wouldn’t be a case of squatters rights being violated, but rather the fact that a person is trying to be a nuisance for others.
So we are told in the trailer that the owner of the island is using their authority to prevent any more trespassing, and that the only people who are allowed on the island are the Visionaries themselves. This doesn’t seem to be a case of squatters rights being violated, but rather a case of a person doing everything they can to cause no problems for others.
The end of the trailer is about the island getting flooded with water, where you have to jump into the river and swim to your destination. It looks like someone has been trying to make the island a permanent nuisance, whether that be flooding it, or making it look like its in danger of getting flooded. This is an example where squatters rights can be violated if someone starts making it look like they can invade the property of others.
The trailer itself is a great example of how we can be so blinded to squatters rights issues and think they don’t apply to us. It’s as if the developers are saying, “well, squatters rights is a thing, but if you want to be a nuisance to someone, you can’t be a nuisance. That’s just the way it is. We don’t think squatters rights applies to us.
Because that’s exactly what we’ve been doing in the trailer. If I don’t have any more time to work, I’m out of work and will be spending the day in the dark and all.
I am just a regular person, sitting on my front porch, watching some kids playing with their dog, and I have a feeling that squatters rights are something that we are just doing to ourselves. I mean, these kids are from poor families who dont have enough to eat, or if they have enough, they cant afford to buy food. So by squatters rights, their parents cant be renting them out.
Or maybe we arent actually squatters.
Or are we. We are just people who are doing squatters rights to the wrong people.
