This house renovation series of blogs was started by my husband, David. David has been married to me for over 24 years, and we have been remodeling and updating our home for our family of five for over 2 years. We have two beautiful daughters, a beautiful son-in-law, and a two-year-old grandson. The idea for this blog was to share our journey of renovations, changes, and renovations with my husband, David, and my daughters, Lauren and Rachel.
This blog is a chronicle of our remodeling process and some of our renovation projects. We started this blog in January 2012.
We have moved house a few times, remodeled a house, and renovated another home in the same area. We’re not sure what the next move will be, but we’re excited to see what else we can accomplish with the space.
We began this blog in January 2012. We moved house a few times, remodeled a house, and renovated another home in the same area. We were not sure what the next move will be, but were excited to see what else we can accomplish with the space.
This is the fourth time we’ve moved in the last six years. We moved in April 2013. We moved in September 2014. We moved in March 2015.
We had some time to make this blog post, and we’ll post further below.
Now that we’ve made a move to a new home, we’re thinking about the space in our new house. We’re thinking if we could do a little upgrading of our home, what would be the most useful? We hope to do some more upgrading for our next home, but we need to figure out what we want to do first.
When we moved in last year, we were living in a three bedroom, three bathroom house with a lot of potential. We got a lot of new appliances for the new house, but were also in need of some more space. The new house is much bigger than our old house, and the rooms are separated into two different areas that are very large rooms.
Moving into a new house is always a good thing and a necessary goal. It can sometimes feel like a lot of work to get the house in the shape we want, or to find the right location for the new home. With homes being so customized, there isn’t much room for mistakes. But we’ve been having a lot of fun with this remodeling project. We moved our furniture into the new house and decorated it like a new home.
