In my opinion, it’s not a good idea to let students earn money to buy stuff they can’t afford to buy. When I worked for the State of California, the state was spending about $300 million a year on things that would be better used creating jobs for the unemployed. We should be spending that money to improve our own education or the quality of teachers.
In my opinion it’s one of the better ideas in education right now. In fact, I’d like to see a law that would allow student to earn money by doing creative work, where it is more difficult to cheat on tests and be a bad student.

If youre in the business of keeping your students on the fringe of the mainstream, the risk of losing their jobs in those schools is low. With that said, the risk to you is real. If youre in a company that has a really bad name and has a big company, your chances are slim.
The idea that the people who work for you are the smartest people who can control your destiny is a bit strange. You actually just want to get rid of them. If you’re stuck in a day-in-and-out type situation, there’s a good chance that you’ll just go out and make the most of your time at school. If you’re just trying to get out of the office, a lot of times you’ll go out and take a lot of money off the table.
