My teammates and I had a lot of conversations on the subject of work-life balance during the 2016 season, specifically as it pertains to our careers. We have to be very disciplined in our career decisions, and when we are asked to play for a playoff team or get a new job, we have to be equally as disciplined.
So, one of the most important decisions we had to make was to what side of our careers we wanted to take. It’s a really hard decision to make because, at the end of the day, it’s about a team and our careers are our careers. I think it’s important to take note of people’s careers and why they’re on the team and what their career goals are.
I think this stems from the fact that the majority of the teams we’ve been on have had a lot of turnover and people moving around. Its tough to change positions for everyone at once. That said, this is one of the reasons I think we always have a good game, and its why I think we do better with our coaches.
This is a good one. I think if you take a look at the last five years of our careers, we had two people come in and leave after just a couple years and two people come in and leave after just a couple months.
The story is going to be a little bit different. The team is on the move and we’ve been there for a week or two, but it’s a pretty big change.
Again, it’s not the only change, and it’s not the only reason for it either. The biggest change is that the two guys that leave will have to come back. Thats the big deal. The next big change is that they can’t keep doing this for long. They are going to be on the move now for two months at a time.
Its not like they leave for a vacation or something like that. Theyve been together for about two years and are used to the way things are. However, its not the first time theyve just been gone for a month. In fact, theyve been gone for just over a week (and thats the extent of the time theyve been apart). It is a very normal two month separation, so I don’t think its a big deal.
My guess is that some of them got a little nostalgic while they were gone and decided to come back for some fun. I mean im not sure if its the case, but its worth asking.
What can I tell you? It must be pretty exciting for them. In fact, I think Im gonna go see if I can get them together for a drink just so I can say I was right too.
Well, I think that you can tell they just need a little time. I mean its just normal two month separation. I think they just need to remember their teammates and have fun. And thats it, but I dont think they would have made it this far if they didnt have some sort of emotional attachment to each other.
